The 2027 Lampasas County Youth Livestock Show Rule Book and Show Schedule is now available. Please review the new rule book for current rules, requirements, deadlines, and show information. If you are interested in showing a sheep, goat, or pig but do not have a place to keep your animal, spaces are available at the Lampasas County Ag Barn. Please contact the Extension Office for an application and rules or with any questions.
New for 2027, the Lampasas County Youth Livestock Show will also feature the Youth Advocates for Agriculture (YAAL) Public Speaking Contest, giving eligible Lampasas County 4-H and FFA exhibitors an opportunity to compete in junior and senior divisions with speeches focused on agriculture-related topics. Full contest rules and details are included in the 2027 Rule Book.
ONLINE STOCK SHOW REGISTRATION WILL BE nov. 1ST - Dec. 7th 2026
Validation Dates
Broiler Orders
Orders were due October 1 to the Extension Office.
Chick Validation & Pickup: November 20, 4:30–5:30 PM at the Lampasas Showbarn.
Sheep & Goat Validation
October 26, 4:00–6:00 PM — Lometa Showbarn
October 27, 4:00–6:00 PM — Lampasas Showbarn
Heifer Validation
October 27, 4:00–6:00 PM — Lampasas Showbarn
Swine Validation
November 18, 4:15–6:00 PM — Lampasas Showbarn
November 20, 4:15–6:00 PM — Lampasas Showbarn
Rabbit Validation
December 7, 4:00–6:00 PM — Lampasas Showbarn
